Street children in Ulaanbaatar Ganbaatar (10) |
Ganbaatar ran away from home, when he was 5 years old. His parents are unemployed and 37 years old.
They live together with 4 older sisters on the edges of Ulaanbaatar in a yurt.
Ganbaatar didn't want to tell why he ran away from home, or even if the reason was his parents.
One Month ago, Ganbaatar saw his parents at the market, but he didn't speak to them, because, as he
said himself, he has disowned them.
On the street Ankhbayar, Tsog-Erdene and Suhbat became friends with Ganbaatar and Ganbaatar
slept with them in an entrance to a dwelling. In the Summertime Ganbaatar begs food and money from
the tourists. He started to smoke on the street and sometimes he is afraid, like Ankhbayar, that
other street children will beat him.
Ganbaatar would like to be a Doctor and help other people.
